Although North Jersey is a breeding ground for great musicians, The Victory manages to stand out and shine. Hailing from North Arlington, this high velocity pop-punk quartet captures audiences with their contagious hooks and lyrics that are easy to relate to. Their passion clearly shows in their live performances, and their constant pursuit of crowd involvement makes it difficult to keep from humming their tunes long after you’ve left the show. TV made a name for themselves after winning The Break Contest in 2009, gaining them a set at Bamboozle, an accomplishment which should prove to only be the tip of the iceberg in terms of achievement. Their songs cover a vast range of circumstances that listeners can relate to: High Times on Low Street, for those struggling to keep their chin up after a relationship’s end, to Lightning Loves Me, for those who feel triumphant after leaving an ex in the dust. The Victory boys are definitely a force to be reckoned with, and can only be expected to continue pushing their way to the surface in a sea of musicians.
