NJ Film -“Blue Collar Boys”

“Blue Collar Boys” is an independent, feature film about a struggling working-class family. The film was shot in several New Jersey towns spanning both Middlesex and Monmouth counties. Written and directed by Mark Nistico, a native from Old Bridge, “Blue Collar Boys” has just been awarded the Best Micro-Budget Feature Film Award at the 2011 Toronto Film Festival. The film is currently traveling the film festival circuit and will be making it’s way back to the tri-state area in December. “Blue Collar Boys” will screen at the New York New Filmmaker’s Film Festival on December 12 at 9:00 PM. The screening will take place at The Anthology Cinema located at 32 2nd Ave at 2nd Street in downtown Manhattan. All who attend will receive a DVD of the “Behind the Scenes- Making of the Film.” A reception will follow the Q and A with the actors and filmmaker.
