NJ Fashion & The Jersey Gardens Mall

Residents of New Jersey may not agree with all female stereotypes associated with our state, but most Jersey girls can agree on one thing, we love to shop. Out of all fifty states, New Jersey has the most shopping malls per square mile and as the ‘mall-rat’, or self proclaimed ‘mall-mouse’, that I am I’ve probably been to over half of them myself. Riverside Square, Bergen Town Center, Jersey Shore Outlets, Paramus Park, Woodbridge, Monmouth, Willowbrook, and the list can go on and on.

Having been to so many malls, it’s often times hard to distinguish differences between them. Malls all follow the same typical layout, rows of stores that you’ve seen a million times, dirty-white laminate tile flooring, and a food court where you can get a two day old cheeseburger. Tired of tile? Chasing a change? Buying on a budget? Three simple words can solve all of these dilemmas. Jersey Gardens Mall.

The largest outlet mall in the state of New Jersey, holding over 200 stores, Jersey Gardens Mall is located at exit 13A off the Turnpike in Elizabeth. Carpeted flooring does provide your feet a little extra cushion when browsing this mall for hours on end, but I still suggest stepping into your sneakers, you have a long but EXCITING day of shopping ahead of you. Forgot your walking shoes? Regretting wearing your stylish stilettos? Choose from Champs, Aldo Outlet, Puma, Reebok Outlet and any of the other budget friendly shoe stores to scoop up some new comfy kicks.

The holidays are upon us, and with Christmas less than two weeks away today, last minute holiday shopping can be a struggle. Why not go somewhere that has stores for everyone on your list in one location? Lord and Taylor Outlet, Off 5th, and Last Call by Neiman Marcus are sure to have something wonderful for the women in your life. American Eagle Off Campus, Abercrombie and Fitch Outlet, and True Religion can take care of the teens.  P.S. by Aeropostale, OshKosh B’gosh, and Carter’s Outlet can help you cross off the kids. Last, most difficult, but certainly never least is the men in your life. Calvin Klein Outlet, Perry Ellis, Tommy Hilfiger, and the Coach Factory Men’s Store make it easy to shop for your un-shoppable man.

While I could go on and on naming the list of stores in Jersey Gardens Mall, and the great gifts that you can find inside, it’s not practical, and frankly it’s taking away from your shopping time. If you can’t find someone a gift here, maybe they aren’t meant to have one. My only warning, Jersey Gardens Mall requires a minimum of 4 hours to PROPERLY browse this two floor shopping heaven. Think you’re a world record shopper and slipped out in two hours? Don’t be mad when you catch me wearing my new Guess sweater I bought for $15. “I don’t know how I missed it” isn’t an answer, you did that to yourself. My suggestions, X out of this article, cancel your haircut for later, and hop on the Turnpike, you’ll thank me once you return.
