Bar Anticipation, AKA Bar A, is more than just a bar, it is more like one really big house party. I went on a Tuesday night, which is “beat the clock night,” where the beers start at 50 cents and go up a quarter in price every hour.
Its not just the beat the clock special that makes Bar A awesome however, when you first walk in the indoor bar, you will see several people from your high school (if you are between the ages of 21-30 of course) lined up at the bar with about 10 dixie cups full of Miller Lite (to avoid the hourly price hike) with huge smiles on their faces, all of them soaked up in the jersey shore atmosphere. When you start to explore after a quick drink or reminisce with a friend or two, you will walk outside to be struck with the vastness of Bar A (check out my sweet graphic below).
The Bar A area includes: ten different bars, all of which are enormous, a very big room with a dance floor and stage where bands plays live music, a beach volleyball arena, and four porches to hang out and chill on.
Bar A is definitely the place to be at the Jersey shore and deserves to be called seriously awesome!
